Macbeth Responce #1

We have finished act one and so far I dislike the book. It is very hard to comprehend. So I hate that in order to understand what is going on, we need to stop every couple of lines to understand and comprehend what is going on. What I like so far is how twisted and evil the wife of Macbeth (Lady Macbeth) is. I would expect the man of the family, being Macbeth, to be the one that would have any plans in the family to kill somebody. But, instead the wife is the one that is going to kill the king to benefit her husband Macbeth. It is benefiting Macbeth by he will be king if the king dies. I can relate to Macbeth the best because I have always had second thoughts about doing something bad. I would rather let somebody else make a huge decision than me having to do it myself. Macbeth let Lady Macbeth make the decision to kill the king herself. Other than Lady Macbeth being so twisted and evil, what surprised me was that the witches were so nice to Macbeth. I would expect witches to be evil to everybody no matter what the situation is. This confused me as well. What I think will happen next are that Lady Macbeth and Macbeth’s plan works and they actually kill the king. This means that Macbeth is know king but then I think that Macbeth will feel bad about what has happened. He will then try and give him and his wife up for what they did. Lady Macbeth wants to try and stop Macbeth from doing so and she goes to the witches and asks them for a favor. The favor is that they make sure that Macbeth can’t tell what happened to the king. In return, the witches will receive a large sum of money. What they do with the money is going to somehow buy them something that will make them all queens. This is just a huge guess but it makes sense to me.
