Why?

For soccer, as usual I am asking the question why. Yesterday, being Saturday, we had a game, we won but that did not bring up why. What brought up why was that he kept me and three other players after the game for 45 minutes to talk to us. He told us why we weren't playing and wanted our response on what we thought. WHY? I wasn't expecting to play at all when I made the team so I didn't care that I didn't play. I was pissed that he spent that long after the game to let me know when he knew we all had to go to the team party. So we all showed up late and of course we got embarrassed when everybody asked us why we had to stay after. Just horrible thought process on his end. And, worst of all, the reasons he gave on why everybody else wasn't playing were invalid. They were way wrong and it seems like he is trying to defend something but I can't figure it out. There is a secret somewhere about what he is doing and I can't figure it out.
