The season started off against Indian Hills. They weren't much of a challenge; we controlled the game but couldn't score. They had one shot all game and it went in. We lost 1-0. How obnoxious! You out-beat the other team in every category but goals scored.
Then we played Mahwah, which yet again we controlled the game just we didn't score a lot, but we did score enough. We went on to win 1-0. So far, that was the high point of the season.
Then we played probably the worst team in the league, Bergenfield, and it should have been simple. We went in overconfident and lost 5-2. We played on a field that was 48 yards long. We couldn't adjust. We didn't play to our full potential. It was a very disappointing game.
So our record right now is 1 win and 2 losses. My expectations down the drain. It is still early so anything could happen, but as of now, we need a big turn around.
